Dr Hay has been nominated by the Chair of LA County Board of Supervisors Kathryn Barger
to serve as Los Angeles County Hospitals and Health Care Delivery Commissioner and his nomination got unanimously approved by the board. Term of office is 4 years and Commissioners may serve two consecutive terms.
The Hospitals and Health Care Delivery Commission’s duties are to consult with and advise the Director of Health Services and the Board of Supervisors on all matters pertaining to patient care policies and programs of the Los Angeles County hospital system.
Los Angeles County has 88 cities, including Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, Malibu, Long Beach, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Culver City, Lancaster, Montebello, Santa Clarita, and other well known cities, with the total population of 10 million residents.

In addition to his new County appointment, Dr. Hay currently serves as:
— President of the California Naturopathic Association (2025–2029)
— Arts & Culture Commissioner of the City of Glendale (2025–2028)
— Founder & CEO of The Guardian of Health Wellness Center (since 2017).
Dr. Hay holds a PhD in Nutrition & Nutraceuticals, a Doctorate in Naturopathy, a PhD in Arts, and a Doctoral Degree in Musical Composition.

— For practical contribution towards strengthening the health of the nations, he received The Medal of the immunology & microbiome research pioneer, Nobel Prize winner in Medicine Dr. Elie Metchnikoff.
— For contribution to the development of medicine and healthcare, he received the Medal of the experimental neurologist and psychologist, Nobel Prize winner in medicine Dr. Ivan Pavlov.
